Too a few, those blessed with power, Mililath Tower blazed in the heart of the night, consumed by a magical storm raging within. However, even those a child’s stone throw away slumbered in blissful ignorance through the layer upon layer of wards sealing structure. Kellsie didn’t share either the grace or the power and stood at the storm’s heart.
Does That Work
I jerked when the hand rested on my shoulder. I swung my head to the side, peering at Ebony. Her brows were drawn down, forming a slight crease in her forehead. How long had I been ignoring her? Worse. I had no idea what she had asked.
One Moment
This isn’t a usual from the author post, but then the last several days (or months really) haven’t been usual for me. To start, I’d like to present a quick bit of flash fiction. After which will be my update.
Arrivals
Flossie scowled at the crowd milling in the predawn gloom. Their soft murmur was drowned by the roaring train. Closer. She had to get closer before Felix made his appearance. Elbows struck her, shoving her backward.

Following Flow

Silence Unbroken

My short story “Crossroads of the Sky” was nominated in the Critters 2020 Readers’ Choice Awards for Steam Punk Short Stories. More information on the story is available here. Voting…
