What is WonHundred Word Wednesdays? It’s when a group of amazing authors and I write 100 word stories all based on the same short prompt and post them. All the variations are fun to read.
Water and who knew what drenched me as I landed. Why were dingy alleys used for tossing? Why not a park? Cathan landed next to me. “Happy with your suggestion now?”
“Avarice was just a good way to start, not the end. She’s a hand in most things. Apt name. I wonder who picked her name? Her parents or her?” Cathan shrugged and hopped up like we hadn’t just been manhandled and traipsed away. I scurried after. “At least we know where we’re going.”
“Where is that?” I dreaded the answer.
“The Bulwark.”
Yes, dread. Dread was a good emotion.
Don’t forget to read the other’s takes on the prompt. More stories go up throughout the day. Be sure to check our page on Facebook for updates as everything becomes available: WonHundred Words.
