What is WonHundred Word Wednesdays? It’s when a group of amazing authors and I write 100 word stories all based on the same short prompt and post them. All the variations are fun to read. Here is my entry for the week.
Denton winced as the princess gaped. Had he said that? Their mutual aghast lasted only a moment. Head high, she swept out of the room. Head even higher, she swept back in.
He should’ve retreated since her ladies, all but one, clustered about Flurette intently ignoring their charge. Sophia stopped inches from him, cheeks reddened from ire.
“Clutchden is not for sale. Keep your scaled gold.” She huffed turning away, her one loyal maid following.
The other lords clustered offering their outrage of the princess’ behavior. Denton ignored their words. No, Sophia was not at all her sister. He grinned.
Don’t forget to read the other’s takes on the prompt. Theirs go up throughout the day.
